Arrived safely at about 11.45am! After carrying the cases up the stairs (which was a struggle for some!) the children unpacked and attempted to place their quilt inside the cover which was highly entertaining! Lunch was either jacket potatoes with tuna and cheese or pasta .
The children then met their group leaders and headed out of the centre. Group 1 spent the afternoon completing a team building activity walking on planks avoiding touching the ground. Group 2 completed the low ropes course and Group 3 had a walk up a small mountain called Latrigg.
After a tea of toad in the hole, fish cakes, chicken curry or macaroni cheese, the whole group went out on the night walk. At the moment we are watching football! But will be heading off to bed soon.
