Chair of Governors

I am proud to have been elected to chair of a strong, diverse and dedicated team of governors. I believe passionately in Dame Dorothy, both of my children have been through the school.

As a board of governors we are committed to putting our young people at the heart of all the decisions we make. We are here to work with and support the leadership of the school helping to ensure that staff find it a happy, fulfilling and positive place to work.

We are a forward facing group of people ready to deal with the challenges put before us. We want to ensure we are visible to, and well known by, our school community.

Above all, our main aim is to ensure that the children are provded with great learning opportunities and life’s experiences whilst at school.  We want it to be a fantastic place for all of our young people to grow and develop into the best possible versions of themselves, giving them the very best start on their educational journey.
